Dreamweaver,
I’ve dreamt of today’s world, I am going through my house, rampaging through, looking desperately for a few extra dollars to buy tickets for an 11th century medieval event. I managed to get the tickets for two people.
I showed up at the event alone, which was an open oval shaped arena-like stadium; for the horses and knights to race laps around. The diners clad in chain-mail are feasting in the centre with women dressed up in corsets, beautiful lace and burgundy velour dresses.
Hanging over the fence line there were erotic couples lingering everywhere boasting, laughing and drinking wine. On the outside of the event was a different city than mine with the roads blocked for the races.
It was a mob, and somehow I couldn’t get in. I managed to see familiar faces, two including my brother’s and my boyfriend’s. The races had started earlier than scheduled, there where knights carrying long swords.
I couldn’t get past them. Later I managed to find myself hiding in a secret passageway on turret stairs, and managed to get down to the fence line where the women were. I was carried away by the guards and thrown out. I then woke up from my dream.

Dear Dreamer,
I’ve had a very hard time deciphering your dream and it seems that you are having a hard time trying to decipher what you want from life . And at the same time you are hiding from someone or something, but yet you are living life to the fullest. So I’m a wee bit confused here.
You have set up some personal barriers around yourself, the fence line, blocked roads and hiding in passage ways are good indications of this. The fence line and your almost desperate desire to reach it are indicative of your need for privacy and boundaries that you may have set up in a “personal” relationship.
These boundaries are preventing you and that special someone from achieving that “special” connection. Extra effort on your part will be needed to overcome this external obstacle. This obstacle could be something painful from your past or it could be someone from your past.
Either way you have not dealt with the situation and it is now causing problems in your personal and day to day life. Boasting or bragging indicate that you are not at peace with your self. Which is another indication that this issue from your past is causing problems in your life.
Blocked roads are just that, but who or what are you trying to keep out? Hiding in a passage way brings up the question of who or what are you really hiding from? A long sword is indicative of self protection, courage and strength.
Chain-mail represents personal protection or your outer-shell. A mob indicates a need for people with like minded ideals. An arena represents a need to create an environment that leaves you with more room for self expression as well as a conflict that needs to be brought out in to the open, maybe the issue from your past.
To dream of a beautiful dress indicates you have much to appreciate, a corset indicates a hidden side to your self image, lace indicates a sensitive or delicate nature and velour represents giftedness and richness in life.
A horse is indicative of ambition, ecstasy and your wild nature. A knight is a search for perfection. And a stadium is a warning to be more involved, but in what I’m not sure. Maybe the issue from your past or maybe something else in your life. Something to think about.
Money is a warning to be more aware of what you “pay” for your desires and actions. Tickets are a need to be more objective of your self. A race is another warning and this one is telling you to slow down and take things one day at a time. Dreaming of your boyfriend is your way of trying to connect with your feelings, attachments and sexuality for and with him.
Seeing your brother indicates your feelings of kinship with him, but there are also feelings of rivalry. Hopefully a friendly one. The fact that you purchased two tickets but only used one indicates that you have a desire for independence.
Drinking, laughter and wine are indicators of a need for comfort, shared enjoyment, the old cliche of laughter being the best medicine is actually very accurate. Wine is representative of living life to the fullest and taking care of the things you value.
Overall this is a very enlightening dream. Unfortunately without some insight into what is happening in your life I can’t answer all the questions this dream evoked. I hope this has shed some light for you and has given you a different perspective to look from .
