Dear
Dreamers,
I was recently asked what,
why, and how I do what I do. First of all, I interpret dreams because
I love it; you can learn so much about yourself and others from
dreams. I could go on to explain all the mechanics involved, as
well as all the textbook terminology, but that would probably bore
you.
And if I did, you would
no longer have to send me your dreams. I can't have that, now can
I?
I can
tell you that there are many different types of dreams: obvious
nightmares, divination and telepathic dreams, and programmed and
lucid dreams. The most common is reliving your day's events in a
variety of different scenarios. We also have re-occurring dreams,
although these dreams may decrease in occurrence if you can remember
the details and events.
I find dream interpretation a
very useful tool in planning my daily and future goals. It helps
me decipher different avenues so I can make a better-informed decision
about where I want my life to go. I also take everyday events and
choices into consideration when making plans, because not every
decision in life can be made solely on dreams, but I do listen to
what they may be trying to tell me.
Unfortunately, not everyone remembers
his or her dreams, but everyone does dream. I keep a dream journal
beside my bed so that when I wake up in the morning, I can immediately
write down whatever I remember from my dreams. Later I'll go over
it, and usually remember more bits and pieces. I find this extremely
helpful, maybe some of you will as well.
Most dreamers come to me for help
because they have had a rather troubling or just plain eerie, dream
(my favourite). Every dream has a story to tell, whether it's about
the dreamer or someone close to them. I try to decipher dreams by
using different symbols, signs, colours, numbers and images. Each
one has a different meaning depending on surrounding images and
on the dreamers themselves.
For example, if you have had a
bad day, you may dream of something you find pleasant and enjoyable,
or you may dream of doing nasty things to the cause of your rotten
day. That always makes me feel better!
On occasion, we can have divination
or telepathic dreams. I find these very interesting, although sometimes
a little frightening! But these are my most helpful and sought-after
dreams. They have given me uncanny insight into my future and the
futures of the people I care most about. This type of dream can
be difficult to distinguish from your typical dream.
It may take some digging and investigation
to separate from a regular dream. If you feel you have had a dream
such as this, it may help guide you as it has me. My interest in
dreams started many, many years ago (I'm ancient). The first one
I recall scared the heck out of me. I dreamt that someone in my
family had died in a terrible and extremely painful way. A week
later I discovered that my great-grandmother had died in a house
fire.
Divination dreams can be frustrating
when you don't have all the pieces, so examine them very carefully.
Once I took this "gift" of mine seriously, I became curious about
where it came from. To my surprise, I found that most of my female
ancestors had some form of spiritual or psychic talent.
Whether it was clairvoyance, divination
with aids such as tarot cards, rune stones or palm reading, telepathy
or empathy, they all had the "sight" in some form. I guess I come
from a long line of fortunetellers, (just kidding).
The women in my family have bestowed
a great, powerful and sometimes daunting gift on me. I hope that
I can fulfill their dreams and desires for me throughout my life.
Although I often add humour to my interpretations, I want all of
you out there to know that I do take this very seriously, especially
my dreams and the ability to interpret them.
It can be very draining and rather
difficult, but I'll never give it up. Hopefully, with your continued
support, I'll have many more fascinating dreams to interpret.
Have you ever had a dream
and wondered what it meant? Dreams are your subconscious communicating
with you to help work through problems that may be occurring in
your life. Dreamweaver is here to help give you some insight to
your dreams. Write a descriptive recollection of your dream, including
such details as colours, sizes, any shadows or numbers that appear
in your dream. Also, include a brief description of any serious
situations that might be happening at home, work or in your personal
life. We ask that you include a telephone number at which we may
contact you for further details if needed. All phone numbers are
kept confidential and will not be printed.
