 Dear
Dreamweaver,
I had this dream a while ago, and recorded
it in a journal, always hoping to analyze it someday...
I was a bridesmaid in someone's wedding. Everyones
dress was a gold color and each person had to wear a four-leaf clover
pin. Then, while waiting for my name to be called to walk to the
front, my bouquet of flowers fell apart, leaving me with no more
than a stick and a few flowers.
My name was never called, and an usher grabbed
my arm and hurried me to the front of the church. I went off to
the side, and sat on a table with my friend, Jen, and two young
children she was with. The bride (I didn't know her)ran over and
explained that I hadn't been called because I was only a back-up
bridesmaid.
Jen and I sat and ate popcorn, and watched
the wedding.There was a dog, tied up in a wooden pen in front of
us, and it started whining. It's owner came over and scolded it.
An old man walked by the cage next, and the dog began barkin and
pulling at the rope, trying to get closer. Then,with one hard tug,
it's neck snapped, and he fell limp.
I turned away, and buried my face in my hands,saying
over and over that I was going to be sick. Does that make any sense
to anyone??

Dear Nut Bar
I'd like to say that this dream makes sense,
but the only person who can verify that is you. I can tell you that
you are defiantly are not a Nut Bar. Trust me, I've had strange
daydreams.
Hopefully after I've gone through your dream
and broken it down a bit, it'll make more sense to you. The overall
message here is that you are feeling very left out of life and your
lack of self confidence and low self esteem could be two of the
hindering factors.
Seeing yourself as a bridesmaid and not as
a bride are also indicative of this. In other words you need to
be more active and involved in your day to day life. The gold dress
indicates your desire for recognition and individuality, which you
feel you lack.
The four leaf clover pin signifies a lack of
faith in yourself and a warning against impulsive behavior. The
falling apart bouqet signifies your lack of physical energy, and
waiting around to be called upon indicates, again a fear of being
excluded. Waiting could also indicate your fear of never finding
that special someone. But don't worry there is a time and place
for everything, when your time is right you will find your soul
mate.
The usher could actually be indicative of this.
Seeing yourself inside a church indicates forthcoming trouble, but
don't panic sometimes these little bombs can be wee blessings in
disguise! Sitting on a table with your friend is a sign that you
are in need of support right now. Don't be afraid to ask for help
if you feel you can't accomplish whatever you need to do on your
own.
The children indicate an innocent acceptance
of happiness in your domestic life, which at this point you may
feel you lack. Eating popcorn indicates that you are satisfying
your need for a healthy love interest, maybe that special someone?
The penned up dog indicates a warning of the controlling influences
in your life and your fear of being hurt and left alone.
Maybe the events that caused you pain in your
past have crept into your present. In order to find happiness and
freedom you must let go of your old scars. It won't be easy but
remember little bombs are wee blessings in disguise!
