Producer to give
Workshop at CineVic
Trish Dolman producer of the award
winning Flower and Garnet will be in Victoria this weekend (July
26 & 27th) giving local filmmakers the opportunity
to learn about creating the successful Canadian production. The
workshop focuses on public and private financing and is part of
The Professional Development Series.

Trish Dolman is the founder of Screen
Siren Pictures a Vancouver based company producing shorts, documentaries
and feature films. Trish produced the award winning documentary
Ice Girls and Flower and Garnet which won nine leo awards, two
Genies and was named best Canadian Feature at The Victoria Independent
Film and Video Festival. Ms Dolman is currently working on several
new features including Guided by Wire, which is written and directed
by Kieth Behrman (Flower and Garnet.)

true to her vision as an artist." The morning session is a detailed
investigation into the process of producing Flower and Garnet,
while the afternoon is open discussion and question and answer
period. Sundays session is reserved for one -on -one consultations
with Trish Dolman.
The day long workshop costs $125.00
plus GST on July 26th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. To register

so they are restricted to producers with projects in development,
they are $35 each.
